NOVEMBER 2014—It was a busy month for the French-Japanese collaboration on PV. It started with the visit of Prof. Yoshitaka Okada group to the Laboratory for Photonics and Nanostructures (LPN) in Marcoussis.
It continued with the 3rd CNRS/RCAST LIA NextPV international workshop in Bordeaux (see picture).
Finally this month ended with the World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-6) hosted in Kyoto. The conference was a great occasion to gather the PV community in a beautiful place colored by the red leaves season.
Dr. Ludmila Cojocaru was awarded the Young Researcher Award for her presentation on: Chloride Assisted Perovskite Solar Cells with High Efficiency (see picture).
The LIA NextPV also presented the recent work on light management for quantum structured solar cells:
- Strong Absorption Exaltation in Ultrathin QDs and MQWs for Tandem and Intermediate Band Solar Cells, Benoît Behaghel (PhD student), WCPEC-6, Kyoto.
